Film--Viewing and Creating

Students are interested in both creating and viewing films, it seems. This story from an EdWeek blog provides some food for thought, especially in light of Tuesday's graduate-class presentation by Shirl Chumley, who team-teaches a high school film class, and the film work that Anna Marie is doing. What are some of the many ways that teachers are working with film in school now? What can we learn from them? What possibilities lie ahead of us? I'd like to know more.
